Ptuj and Ptujska gora
Bus drive to the north-eastern part of Slovenia, the Slovene Styria with its most attractive town Ptuj, reflecting in the wide Drava river. The place was already known by the Romans as Poetovio.
The majestic castle above the town has a very interesting collection of the true local history. We will also visit the gothic pilgrim church of the Holy Mother on Ptujska gora, a hill with a beautiful view across the fields and to Slovenske gorice - the vineyards behind.
